What is Dharma? There is no English word that correctly translates as Dharma. Religion in Hindi is called मत Duty in Hindi is called कर्तव्य. It may be understood as the quintessential quality that defines a thing. So to understand my dharma I must understand the quintessential quality of me as a human and me as an individual. Dharma is also understood as “That which sustains everything”.
