History of Raam temple in Ayodhya

1. After Lord Raam’s demise Ayodhya fell to ruin. Near Ayodhya is the city Koshaambi – Kush’s city. He built a great Raam temple but in time it broke down.
2. Ujjain king Vikramaditya – once again rebuilt Ayodhya. He also built a temple where Prabhu Rama was born.
3. In time a Greek invader by the name of Minander broke the temple.
4. Then Salar Masood a Muslim commander demolished the Ayodhya temple. Despite the demolition there were parts of the temple that still existed. Salar Masood was also behind the demolishing of Somnath temple. He made a point of demolishing any and every important Hindu temple he came across and building a mosque in its place. In Bahraich – a city in Uttar Pradesh he found a sun god temple which was revered by the people there. It was his dream to demolish that temple, build a mosque in its place and reside there because he wanted to neutralize the evil spell of the material sun with the power of the spiritual sun of Islam. He was killed by the legendary king – King Suhaldev. When he died, he asked his people to bury him at the site of the Sun temple and build a mosque. Since he died in a battle he was awarded the title of Ghazi which means religious warrior. He was basically a Jihadi – an Islamic terrorist whose grave now is where our Sun temple used to be and many people go over there to pray – including Hindus who are oblivious of their history.
5. Finally the Mughals razed the Raam temple to ground leaving no trace of it.
6. They also built a mosque on that spot and called it the Baabri Masjid.
7. In 1857 Hindus supported Bahadur Shah Zafar in his fight against the British.
8. Muslims as a gesture of gratitude agreed to hand over the land where Raam temple used to be to the Hindus.
9. This enraged the Britishers and worried them.
10. As a result, they hung Amir Ali and Baba RamCharan Daas on a tamarind tree at a spot called Kubera Tilla.
11. Ppl started worshipping that spot so British got that tree cut off.
12. In 1934 Hindus demolished the Baabri Masjid.
13. Britishers saw this as a golden opportunity to drive a deeper wedge between Hindus and Muslims and spent Rs 70,000 to re-build the mosque.
14. In 1947 after the freedom and partition of India Hindus went to the Babri Masjid and placed a Raam Bhagvaan idol there. The congress government at the time locked the mosque and disallowed the Hindus from worshipping there.
15. In 1992, 150,000 Hindus rallied to the Babri masjid and demolished it again demanding construction of Raam temple in its spot. The demolition sparked Hindu Muslim riots in which thousands of people were killed. Hindus were also killed in Pakistan and Bangladesh because this 1 mosque had been demolished.
16. The communal violence escalated and finally this case went into the court.
17. November 9, 2019 finally the Supreme Court decided that the land should be given to Hindus. The government gave a separate piece of land to the Muslims to build a new mosque. The Muslims have also been given money by the Indian government to build their temple.
